Nima Technology manufacture scientific instruments for the fabrication and characterisation of thin films. Our instruments can fabricate films with a thickness as small as a couple of nanometres, just one molecule thick.
Monolayer films can be prepared and studied on our Langmuir Troughs and even deposited as solid films for investigations with many other techniques using LB Deposition Troughs.
The company was founded in 1983 by Dr Frank Grunfeld and has grown to become a leading producer of monolayer research technology. Over one thousand customers worldwide use Nima products in both academia and industry. Many of these customers return to Nima because of the high quality of the products and the excellent customer service. We aim to provide customers with a satisfying experience from the very first product enquiry through to technical or scientific enquiries years later.
We attend many materials/interfaces/thin-film conferences and nanoscale science workshops worldwide so you may well have seen us already. Please see the Nima events schedule to find out where we will be visiting in the forseeable future. We would love for you to visit us at these events or we could even come to visit you at your nearby research facilty, if this is better for you.
We love to hear from our customers so if you wish to give any feedback or suggestions for improvements to our products, software or customer service, please do contact us. If you require any information about any of our products, please email us.
