The Large Langmuir Trough has a subphase area of 30x20cm and a maximum monolayer containment area of 535cm2.
This trough can comfortably accommodate the Nima Surface Potential Sensor and the Nima MicroBAM monolayer visualisation instrument at the centre of the compressed monolayer.
