Langmuir/LB Deposition Trough Software

The latest version of Nima trough software is version TR620. This software controls all Nima troughs (excluding independent barrier troughs such as the Alternate-Layer LB Deposition Trough) and also the new Nima surface potential sensor.

You are required to have a PC running Windows 95 or later operating system. If you are using Nima software in Windows Vista, please install directly to C:\Nima Technology\....
The software can be installed into any sub-directory you choose. If multiple installations of Nima software are to be used on one computer, please install to different directories.
Any existing calibration files can be copied from an old installation folder into your new one, to avoid having to recalibrate any hardware or software settings. The two files that will need to be copied over are 'sensors.cal' and 'install.dat'.
If you believe that your configuration files have been deleted, lost or corrupted, please get in touch and we may be able to send you the master configuration files for your exact piece of equipment. These files are created by Nima during the equipment testing and calibration stage, before each piece of equipment is shipped. Replacement files may not be available for our older products.
Dip Coater Software
The latest version of the Nima dip coater software can be downloaded by clicking the link below. This software is for DC Small, DC Large, DC Multi Sample and DC Angled models as well as earlier models such as the DC Mono75 and DC Mono160.

You will be required to calibrate your Nima dip coater speed in both the upwards and downwards directions by following the simple on screen instructions. Please ensure that you have the dipping arm and a typically weighted substrate attached.
The DC Multi Vessel software, for control of the dipping mechanism and 8 vessel rotating carousel can be downloaded by clicking on the link below. This software is compatible with the earlier DC Multi (vessel) model with up to 16 vessels.
