The Artillery is an exciting new concept to York, which gives art lovers the opportunity to hire art. Ails McGee and Emilie-Rose Clark have brought this business together to make art more accessible and to encourage a new generation of art fanatics.
The business launched in 2017 and quickly expanded to introduce The Artillery Membership, and we’re very excited to see what they have planned next for this innovative brand.
Brand: Lazenby Brown
The Artillery got in touch with NIMA after working with the fantastic agency, Lazenby Brown on their new branding.
Lazenby Brown had delivered dynamic branding that suited itself perfectly to The Artillery’s social media presence, and now Ails and Emilie wanted to incorporate it into a new web presence.
We started this project with some consultation around the business strategy and marketing plan for 2018, including target audience, business growth and business objectives. Once we had a strong understanding of these areas, we began bringing together concepts for the website.
It was important that the website showcased the various elements of the business effectively, but still delivered a seamless experience for the end user. We needed a site that could showcase the art effectively whilst remaining clean and current. We love working with The Artillery and hearing about their next steps and growth, and have consciously made a website that can grow with them and their ever expanding list of ideas.
Once the website went live, we began work on Membership Cards for The Artillery using the brilliant branding provided by Lazenby Brown. These cards are now in circulation and available for purchase on the site.
