The Grapes Inn is a fantastic pub in Slingsby offering the authentic pub experience. A family business that has captured the warm, friendly atmosphere that you expect from your local pub, and combined it with an incredible menu, delicious food, real ale and exceptional service.
This pub lends itself perfectly to a huge audience and we love that they’ve balanced the traditional pub with innovative ideas like a Pizza Bar.

Our first step with this project was to refresh the branding and ensure a consistent image across all platforms before we moved onto their new website design.
The Grapes Inn needed a new site that showcase their full and exciting offering, yet at the same time showcase the traditional charm that really made this pub stand out.
We commissioned photographer, Olivia Brabbs to come in on this project to capture new images to be used across the site and social media. Olivia booked in two sessions with the client that allowed her to photograph the food offering, the venue itself and the exterior of the pub including the new pizzeria.
Helen Reynolds from Ink Gardener Copywriting then joined the project to write the entire web copy, to enhance the site’s SEO. It was very important that the site read in the same friendly tone that we wanted to highlight, but could also be informative enough that the end user could get what they needed from it. This included menu options, opening times, contact details and location.
Once these elements were complete, we designed and built a new website that matched the rustic charm of The Grapes Inn.
