An exceptional designer and the Design Director of Blossom & Belle, Antonia Aitkin approached NIMA for branding support for her new business Antonia Houston Couture.
Antonia has been in the fashion industry for many years, and specialises in the design and creation of beautiful couture gowns and wedding dresses, flawlessly bringing together luxury fabrics and innovative designs. In 2018, she decided that it was time to launch her very own label, which would allow her to showcase her skills and talent, entirely under her own name.
When we met with Antonia, her brand name was already decided, and we couldn’t agree more that it was a perfect fit for her next step in the industry. We worked to create the accompanying branding and designed a beautiful logo which would wonderfully represent her work and brand through its sleek stylishness. It would lend itself to the high fashion industry and had the potential to become a really iconic and recognisable brand. We were certain it would also be versatile, working well in various places including clothing labels, shopping bags, advertising and storefronts, which ensured the longevity of our work.
Upon touching base with Antonia once again, we were able to hand over our proposed final design, alongside a set of brand guidelines which she would take forward with her to assist future developments, such as her new website.
We have been incredibly proud seeing Antonia take on and succeed at her new challenge, and were able to watch her launch her first collection under the Antonia Houston Couture name at Bettys Café Tearooms during York Fashion Week 2018.
I gave the fabulous NIMA my brief and they came up with the goods straight away. I wanted a branding that represented high-end luxury.
