Quality and innovation are at the heart of handbag company Feltonomy - a brand which offers products that are both stylish and bold through their incredible uniqueness.
NIMA’s work with the Luxembourg-based business was centred around branding and identity, as we worked alongside the company to define and tailor their brand’s personality.
The business founders, a mother and daughter duo, decided to transpose an artistic hobby into a business tailored for the confident and the fashion-conscious. Their passion for creating alternative art in the form of felt handbags stemmed from their belief that the material has been overlooked. Instead, Feltonomy designed a variety of bag styles and began producing them with high quality felt, which is ethically sourced, thick, soft to touch and waterproof, thus defying the typical preconceptions of the material. Feltonomy has revolutionised the image of felt to create a bespoke artisan product which emphasises individual design and craft. Following a series of meetings in Oxford, the founders sketched a logo which we were then able to digitise, as we refined brand guidelines and offered more general branding support.
NIMA has thoroughly enjoyed working alongside this fascinating and exciting brand, and of course, working with the lovely Elise Evers once again following her internship with us a few years ago. We wish Feltonomy the best of luck as their exciting project, brand and products continue to develop.
From the very first contact we had with Nicky and Mark, and throughout our collaboration, they have been the best support and consistently providing professional and sound advice. They make a great team and we look forward to continuing collaborating with NIMA again soon for more services.
