The organisation of a photography exhibition hosted in York’s Mansion House, in collaboration with Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Leeds and York Fashion Week, also involved designing invitations for the one hundred and fifty VIP guests from across Yorkshire.
NIMA wanted the event to be a perfect celebration and therefore worked to curate an exciting and elegant experience. Mansion House was selected as the venue, with its regal Georgian interiors and perfect location in the city centre. We established how best to utilise the space, including where the exhibition itself would take place, and what we could add to the event in various rooms to ensure it was a rich and fulfilling experience.
Contacting some friends of NIMA, we organised official photographers, a gin bar hosted by the wonderful team at Cooper King Gin Distillery, as well as a pop-up shop by Jaeger, who were our clothes sponsors for the photoshoot. In addition to these extras, we sourced drinks and refreshments through a local catering company, who provided sweet treats and Prosecco. Finally, as guests viewed the photography and enjoyed the chance to network, they were entertained by talented local musician, Joshua Burnell.
Organisation also involved designing and distributing invitations to the one hundred and fifty VIP guests from across Yorkshire. Whilst NIMA established the concept of the invitations, and tailored the design to the nature of the event, working with such an iconic name required adherence to brand guidelines. It was important to ensure that the style and appearance of the invites were also representative of Rolls-Royce.
A cover photograph was carefully selected from the final collection of the photoshoot, which conveyed an air of class and elegance. Before finally, the invitations were brought to life by Pressision, a friend of NIMA and a company at the very highest end of the printing business. A high-quality paper in "White Frost" was selected, completing the invites so that they looked, and felt, perfect.
Every element of design came together to produce a luxurious and beautifully finished invitation and the perfect foreground for what was to be an incredibly successful and rewarding event.
