Our history

NIMA was founded in 2016 by Mark Bewick and Nicky Hayer. The pair came together to create a business that could offer a full-service solution to businesses in the luxury sector. Their collective experience in hospitality and retail, coupled with their passion for customer experience attracted nationwide projects and they signed a major international client during the first year of business.

Their in-depth knowledge of the industry gave them the perfect insight to consult with and support new and established brands. Three years into their journey, they began to expand the team.

Nicky is our Managing Director and Brand Consultant, who holds an array of skills attained through her experience in luxury and hospitality, including being Senior Manager at the world-renowned Bettys Café Tea Rooms. Through personal consultations with clients, Nicky understands remarkable customer experience and links it flawlessly to business growth. She works closely with brands to innovate business strategies whilst providing guidance to achieve impeccable brand performance. Nicky’s eye for exceptional change is what places NIMA in the luxury marketing consultancy sector today.

With an appreciation for quality branding and design, Mark is our Creative Director and Brand Consultant. His previous work in retail and hospitality, paired with his excellent attention to detail lends itself perfectly to the luxury sector, as he enhances the customer journey through breath-taking design. As well as evaluating existing brand presence, he builds new concepts and manages creative projects that can transform a business.

Operations Manager

An enthusiasm for excellence, alongside her experience in the retail and hospitality industry, allows Lauren to organise and manage creative and strategic projects which are tailor-made to the client. This includes dynamic photoshoots and immersive events, designed to enhance brand awareness and performance. Her attention to detail perfectly lends itself to tracking brand progression, and we see Lauren forming deep-rooted relationships with NIMA clients.
